Our Story Begins With Hope
Hope in Bay began with someone very close to our founder Rowan’s heart—her mom.
As a two-time breast cancer survivor, her strength and resilience inspired Rowan in more ways than she could express. Watching her mother navigate treatment opened Rowan’s eyes to the emotional and physical challenges that can accompany a cancer diagnosis. It also showed her the incredible impact that compassion and small acts of kindness can have during difficult moments.
That experience inspired the heart behind Hope in Bay.
Meet Our Founder
Rowan
As a high school student aspiring to pursue a career in reconstructive plastic surgery, Rowan wanted to create a way to give back to a community that had profoundly shaped her life.
Through Hope in Bay, she hopes to provide thoughtfully curated care kits that offer comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that no one has to face their journey alone.
What began from a deeply personal experience has grown into a vision for creating something that reaches beyond one person.

Our hope is to build a community rooted in compassion, service, and hope.
Every care kit is thoughtfully assembled with comfort in mind. Practical essentials, self-care products, cozy items, and handwritten messages of encouragement come together to provide both physical comfort and emotional support.
Each item is selected with intention, creating a meaningful reminder that the recipient is not facing their journey alone.
